Because I've been meaning to do this for years. And because it's really helpful when other people make shameless lists. So, for the benefit of anybody who has been assigned to write for me in a ficathon (or who is stalking me, or just wants to make me a lovely gift out of the goodness of their heart...) Because I always run out of room on sign-up forms, and probably come across as a lot harder to please than I really am. And please don't treat this as a set of rigid guidelines - fic that the author enjoys writing is always better than something that's forced to fit certain guidelines :)

Short version: I like most stuff, especially if Nymphadora Tonks (or Assumpta Fitzgerald or Cordelia Gray) is in it. The plottier the better.

- I don't have many smut kinks, and I don't tend to read PWP unless it's one of my favourite rare pairs or about Percy's glasses or something. Sex within loving, established relationships is always appreciated, though. And Percy should always have his glasses
- cracky pairings
- crack!fic in general
- missing canon scenes, especially if they fix holes in canon
- on that note, if anybody could write WTF happened to poor Fortescue, I would have their sparkly mutant-vampire babies and be their bestest BFF forever and ever...
- AU in which Tonks/Moody/Remus/Snape/Dumbledore/Sirius survives
- letters
- banter-heavy rom-coms
- Tonks. Did I mention that? ;)

Things I don't like:
- incest. Cross-gen incest especially. Just no.
- chan, teacher/student. Snape/Hermione especially almost always makes me gag
- Draco, Hermione, Fred, George, Lucius, Umbridge, Death Eaters and Slytherins in general
- Remus/not-Tonks (with a very few exceptions). Tonks may shag anybody she likes, though, as long as Remus is not bashed in the process, and as long as she is not cheating on him at the time. Why yes I do have double standards.
- Harry/Hermione
- Hagrid and Fleur's accents
- hardcore anything, especially where bodily fluids that should not be involved in sex are involved in sex
- threesomes that aren't (X and Y ignore each other and both concentrate on Z for the whole time)
- adultery
- character bashing
- the word 'Mione'
- dub con, non con

Stuff I adore from other fandoms, since I seem to get a bit more multi-fandom by the day:
- Ballykissangel=favourite fandom: OTP is Peter/Assumpta because I am a walking cliche - AU in which she doesn't die is always very much adored. I also love Brendan/Siobhan, Niamh and Orla, but I tend to stop watching just before the end of "The Reckoning" and pretend that certain deaths never happened, so I know the first three series very well, the fourth not very well, and haven't seen the last two since they were first shown. *is squeeing Assumpta fangirl*
- Coupling: I adore Susan, Sally, Oliver, Jane and Julia, and fic featuring any character or canon ship is likely to go down well. You cannot lose with Coupling :D
- Firefly: Zoe and Wash are both loved, shipped with each other or in genfic. Also love Inara, River and Kaylee/Mal (otherwise I ship canonically, but Kaylee/Mal just works).
- Twilight: Edward, Edward/Bella, Rosalie, Leah. Poking fun at the dazzling chagrin and the sparkling and Renesmee and imprinting on babies and stuff is fine by me.
- House MD: Amber, Wilson/Amber, Cuddy, Stacy, House
- Hustle: Mickey/Emma, or anything at all with Ash = ♥
- Doctor Who: anything featuring Donna, Martha or the Adipose will make me squee with joy
- Time-Traveler's Wife: post-canon Clare fic is love, as is Henry/Clare. Not as fond of Alba, though she can be great when written well
- Good Omens: Crowley/Aziraphale, Newt/Anathema. Mainly love gen, though
- Gilmore Girls: Lorelai/Max only, please. Banter-heavy rom-com is love.
- Winnie-the-Pooh: Eeyore!!!!!!!!! (Also love Piglet and Christopher Robin.)
- Anne of Green Gables: Mrs Rachel Lynde, Anne, Diana, Marilla. Anything but gen feels wrong somehow.
- If you can work out how to do it, Outnumbered, Black Books, Jonathan Creek or Drop the Dead Donkey fic would also make me squee very loudly.
- Crossovers. I love crossovers with any of my fandoms, the crackier the better :)
